The Medium model is recommended for users approximately 5’4″ to 5’9″ and supports up to 400 lbs. Its powered lift function gently raises the chair to help make getting up and sitting down easier.

The Evolution’s enhanced three-position reclining system provides multiple comfortable resting positions for reading, watching television, relaxing, or putting your feet up. A padded chaise supports the legs along the full length of the chair to help reduce pressure points and provide a more comfortable reclining experience.

For added convenience, the LC435M includes pull-out arm features with a cup holder and storage compartment. Inside the storage area are USB-A and USB-C charging ports, so compatible devices can stay charged while you relax. The extended-cord hand control is easy to operate and magnetically docks to either side of the chair.

Medicare Coverage

The Sitting Pretty® Evolution LC435M has a recommended HCPCS code of E0627, which applies to an electrically operated seat lift mechanism. Medicare may help cover the seat lift mechanism portion of the recliner when the equipment is medically necessary and Medicare’s coverage requirements are met. The furniture portion of the recliner is generally not covered.

A prescription or written order from a treating medical provider is required, along with documentation showing that the lift mechanism is medically necessary. After the Medicare Part B deductible is met, Medicare generally pays 80% of the Medicare-approved amount for eligible covered equipment, while the beneficiary is typically responsible for the remaining 20%. Coverage is determined by Medicare based on individual eligibility and medical necessity.
